poor hamster

My mom got a call asking if the pharmacy had any vitamin K. We did, so the pharmacist gave a transfer for "Emmett the hamster, give 1 crumb of vitamin K tablet to hamster daily" Super sad! My mom laughed, but I thought it was so horrible! Apparently, the $10 hamster ate rat poison, the family rushed it to the vet, which was pricey, and then came and paid for brand name vitamin K in hopes that the little guy wouldn't die. So sad!
